Located in the hills above Kelty down a decent forestry track off the Cleish road, the B914, this shallow reservior is run by Rosyth Civil Serrvice AC. Wadeable all round the banks Glow is about 14 metres at its deepest point and flanked north and south by pine forest.
Fishing is by any legal method, no catch and release allowed.
Permits are priced very reasoanbly at £10 per day for 6 fish, £15 for a family ticket, 1 adult plus 3 children, 8 fish. You can hire a boat for a tenner, fly only from the boat. The loch is stocked twice a week with browns, rainbows and blues, 1.5 to 2lb average.
I noticed a lot of bait anglers and spinners at the car park end, I recon taking a boat would be the best way to cover the water as there are no other roads into this decent sized loch.
There is a bailiff on site call 07803839737.
