The very cold conditions for this time of year have kept the fish deeper than usual. Deep fished lures and nymphs have scored well but on the better days buzzers have succeeded. Thankfully we now seem to be getting a warmer spell and things are looking up for top of the water action with Hawthorn being an indispensible pattern in the coming weeks.

Mr Duncan, Kinross, had 4 for 13lb on Buzzers, and Mr Docherty, Glenrothes, also used Buzzers to good effect taking 3 for 7lb 11oz.
