Hawick Angling Club

Have 10 mile double bank fishing on the river Teviot. The largest Borders club they have a club house open to visitors.

They also have 3 lochs, Alemoor and Williestruther stocked with rainbows and Barnes loch with wild brownies. There is grayling fishing on the Teviot.

Permits from Post Office, Sandbed, Hawick, TD9 0HE and Fishtweed Day and some visitor season tickets available at very reasonable cost, no salmon day tickets on a Saturday.

Helmsdale Angling Association Water

Daily and weekly salmon tickets are available on the Town Water. There is an opportunity to fish anywhere on this prestigious river. In recent years for 10 days from the 11th of january. Tried it once in a cold winter, line froze on the reel but it was fab water. For permits try the Belgrave Hotel, they issue the free tickets. Google Map Reference 57.479395, -4.224604

Huntly Town Waters

Fishing for salmon, sea trout and brown trout on the Deveron, Isla and Bogie. Resident and visitor season tickets plus day and week tickets. Some nice water with fish up at Huntly quickly with a spate. Don't miss the Isla for trout if the salmon are not coming out to play.
