Mauchline and Ballochmyle AC

Fishing for salmon, sea trout and brown trout on the river Ayr from the bridge over the A76 down to Barskimming Bridge and the Lugar from the meetings of the Ayr and Lugar upstream for about a mile. They also offer fishing for browns, rainbows and blues on Belston Loch near Sinclairstoun. They now control waters formerly covered by Catrine AC.

Salmon and sea trout fishing on 3.5 miles mostly double bank, 18 named pools. Daily permits (£25 Feb - May, £40 June - Aug, £45 Sept - Nov); 3 day ( £65, £95 and £115); and weekly permits (£130, £190 and £230) (max 12 per day) plus a spring / summer night fishing ticket for sea trout (£30, 6pm to 6am).
