West Lothian AA have 8 miles of fishing on the river Almond both banks. Members only at this time but they are considering day tickets. The fishing extends from Kirkton Weir to Clifton Hall out past Newbridge. Beat 1 excludes salmon fishing while beat 2 allows.

Wick Angling Association

10 miles double bank fishing on this slow moving spate river with 40 named pools. Catches are very much dependent on rainfall with only 77 taken in the 2003 drought year and 781 taken the following year with some good water. The 10 year average is 403.
