Ugie Angling Association in Peterhead have 18 miles of salmon, sea trout and brown trout fishing on the Ugie 38 pools in very nice looking water. Still a good sea trout river.
A spate river, they allow fly, bait (worms only) and spinning.
Day and week tickets available. 2 fish limit for sea trout, C & R for all salmon and finnock.

Urie
The Urie meanders into the Don at Inverurie, holding some good quality trout, salmon and sea trout.
It is fished lightly as most anglers prefer to concentrate on the Don.
Permits to fish the Urie are included in the ticket for the Don which can be bought at Sloans Tackle Shop in Inverurie, call 01467 625181.

Urr
A spate river in Kirkcubrightshire of some 35 miles fishes til the end of November and has runs of "large "greybacks". There is access to some good fishing offered by 2 angling clubs:
Dalbeattie Angling Association Dalbeattie AA have 3.5 miles of fishing for salmon, sea trout and brown trout on the lower river Urr from the tidal beat up stream. The also have fishing on Buittle Loch.

Castle Douglas AA have fishing on 5 miles of the river Urr for salmon, sea trout and brown trout. Best pools are Step End, Cauls, Davie Craig, Red Brae, Spottes Dam, Battery, Jeans and Grange Water, fly only from Spottes Bridge upstream, worm allowed down stream all season. They also have fishing for brownies and rainbows in the 56 acre Loch Roan.
