DAERA Public Estate fisheries for disabled anglers

Public Estate waters are administered by the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) which issues rod licenses and permits to fish on their waters. There are 25 venues with improved access for people with mobility issues. Northern Ireland is the only Home Nation that goes that extra bit for anglers with disabilities.

In addition to the great access afforded by the work of DAERA a further 27 game fisheries and 12 coarse fisheries have been identified.
